Title: Seeking a SPITFIRE squadron. ...
Post by: Phil on November 14, 2009, 12:36:45 PM
Spitfire squadron please step forward.

I like organized sorties. Tactical formation flying with professional use of the radio.
Long escorts is a pleasure even when we don't encounter bogeys.

I like organized missions but get a bit disapointed when I see 10 pilot with different planes. I want to see 10 pilots with 10 Spitfires !
AvA Europeen Theatre interests me very much especially when Spits encounters German planes !
I love my Spit9 and the Spit5
Been playing on and off for 2.5 years now and consider myself a fair pilot.
Lots of respect for other players and don't give a DAMN about scores ! Some do/say stupid stuff b'cause of that freeking scoreboard !

Any SPITFIRE enthousiast outhere that has a similar objective ?

We The Few are primarily a European based squadron and enjoy the Spitfire a great deal. However, we don't limit ourselves to a single ride.

Check out the GBU Phil,

We fly all kinds of AC. I basically have the guys find there favorite ride. Because thats what whey are good in. We are a base taking squad on Sat evenings and the rest of the time I always ask the guys what they want to do. I understand well we all pay to play. You will not find any officer that thinks he can push people around.

I to love to fly the spit, I always up a spit for base defence. And like you I don't care about scores. What I do care about is making my objective.

We fly knights most of the time on vox 199. Just log on channel and let them know I invited you.
