Title: F4U-1 Cockpit Head Position and Poor Instrument Views
Post by: stantond on November 15, 2009, 09:51:01 AM
This appears to be a bug.

All instruments cannot be seen in the F4U-1 by changing pilot head position.  The F4U-1A, C, and D models do not have this problem.  Previous versions (2.0x) allowed seeing all instruments by lowering pilot head position.   Currently, it takes a unique combination of looking down and forward to partially see some of the instruments.

Different cockpit layout than the rest of the Corsairs, I have no problems viewing any of the instruments.

What type of monitor are you using?

Folks,

Here is what I see with the head position fully back and down.  Two instruments on the lower right are not fully visible.  The instruments are the oil pressure and cylinder temperature.   What do others see inside the F4U-1 cockpit?
