As I was adjusting my GUI at the start of last night's scenario my display went almost totally dark. At first I thought the scenario host was setting up for a nightime operation. Due to the dark display, I was unable to see well enough to readjust my GUI, which I thought might be the problem. I was forced to shut down my computer to exit AH. Thinking it might be a system-wide problem, I decided to check the BBS for any pertinent info. I clicked on my BBS shortcut which brought me to a web browser page instead of the BBS page (?). I was also unable to play a film on the film viewer. When I attempt to start AH I get a white box on the upper left side of my monitor followed by an almost black AH page, identical to last night's problem. I reloaded the graphics drivers (NVIDIA GTX6200), did a system restore and checked the graphics settings for my monitor and graphics card, all to no avail. Any ideas?

Doing a system restore can (and usually does) make a mess of things.
Simply rename the "settings" folder in the games root installation folder (i.e. C:\HiTech Creations\Aces High\settings) to another name. That will restore the game settings back to defaults.

:aok Problem resolved by renaming the folder. Thanks for your help Skuzzy.

I (and some squad mates) have this problem. ANY time you adjust any of the 2 slide bars above the gamma slide bar (object detail or ground detail range) as soon as you press OK the screen go black and the map page appears to invert some things like waypoints and runways in funky colors. You cant see the courser to try to change anything and you end up resetting the graphics or do a system restor.
Any help on how i can use my slidebars again would be much appreciated.
