Title: Palin book

Just finished the book Sahara. Kind of a humorous account of traveling around the desert and all of the things encountered. Should be able to find it at your local library. That's where I got mine. Here is the info on the book...

But back on topic  :noid  is that the same Michael Palin of Monty Python fame?

I really enjoy Palin's history documentaries --usually on the military channel.  It was moving to see him rub the name of his relative who died in the very last day of WWI.

He's also a riot doing Professor Gumby.

I remember him doing tv commercials for WXRT-FM in CHicago--funny stuff.
