The missions designs are developed by the Aces High community, but the combat AI is part of HiTech Corp's (HTC) code, is proprietary, and it's not an open source project.

well gee..........why do i doubt theyd improve the free aspects of the game, when they could be makin ten dollars a head for online gameplay?
