Thought I'd try something different since we have two other threads dedicated to specific screenshot types. Post your formation pics here!  :airplane:

If you turn on your enable horizon view feature, those blocks at the horizon won't show up. FYI.

Yes they still do, especially if you fly high enough ;)

And yet... nothing that excludes it from the thread everyone already goes to, to view screenshots.

There have been some nice formation screenshots in the existing thread. I don't see the need to separate 'em out.

Ehhh.. Yours is pretty good, but I think this one's a little better (albeit smaller!)

I'll play through :)

Trying to match a wartime shot with a pair of 80th 38s.

The original

The 80th birds.  It's Jandina the P38J and Miss Cheri the P38L

Just cause it looks good.  George Laven in Itsy Bitsy leading Corky Smith in CorkyJr

474th FG outbound to escort the bombers during DGS.  My favorite image from that scenario
(http://i152.photobucket.com/albums/s199/guppy35/474thOutbound.jpg)

The 17s we covered looked good against the snow covered ground.

Taxying in after the successful mission looked good too.

And of course the post mission line up

Nice pics all  :rock

I really enjoy the formation flying. Gives me something to to enroute and looks fantastic when everyone is on board. Also, when you look out and see two or four enemy a/c in the distance flying a tight formation it makes the heart jump a bit when they turn in to engage. A single you can get away with thinking only one or two moves ahead but a 2ship or more and you had better of eaten your wheaties :t

Here are a few from the 82nds last FSO...

Hey Jappa, aren't you advertising you're all newbies by flying that skin?

Orange was used for test aircraft and for pilot training squadrons in the Japenese militaries.  :O
