Title: WW1 Arena

arena coming out later this year and i may have some planes to offer as ideas

Sopwith Triplane, the Fokker Eindecker or the Pfalz D.III

Yeah, WWI will take a lot more patience as the aircraft are slower therefor most "children" will stay with late WWII :bolt:

the first few days will eliminate all but the talented aficionados and die hard connoisseurs (ie no squeekers). I already sense a very good group building up a unqiue and enjoyable community in there. Just the nature of it makes it attractive.

Post by: Treize69 on November 24, 2009, 08:11:05 AM: We'll still have squeekers, they'll just go from whining about wanting their one-off 1945 superplanes to wanting stuff like warps to and from the combat zone (since the planes are so slow and its no fun to fly a whole extra five minutes to get to a fight) and two-seaters with autogunners to watch their backs (since all they can do with such slow planes is go around in circles), and suped-up 1919 what-if planes (because 'the war didn't officially end until the treaty was signed in 1919, so we should have this').

I can't find a fight in Orange Arena because everyone is in World War One.

(I'll bet the popularity of a WW1 arena is WAY underestimated just now.)

Then they'll have to offer strat and balloons, and all things filled with hydrogen, with telegraphers signalling out the incoming enemy. Do you think the Kaiser ever got a short ride in a blimp?
