Title: Opinions needed...

This by no means is final, and is missing many element (rivets, gray paint on wing; rudder; tail plane, and other small text).  But I need opinions on the blue, too bright?

I'm not one of the local USAAF experts, but it looks reasonable to me.

One thing I would change is make the demarcation line "hard" (not blurred, or "soft" as in the screenshot)

Hopefully Fencer will jump in, but the thing that stands out to me are the wing invasion stripes being too small.  Seems like they need to be wider and further out towards the ailerons.  The blue for the 352nd noses varied somewhat depending on time frame.
