They definitely pulled your chain. You should do some searching on the boards before posting anything else. Might save you some embarrassment.

If you got something real share it with HTC directly. Not here on the BBS. It's better for you and the community. :aok

This thread is not going to go the way the OP intended.

Definitely, but I wish HTC would have a bit more to say about whether there's much of a problem or not, even if they understandably can't say anything about methods and countermeasures. I think players have a legitimate interest in knowing whether others are getting away with cheating.

if they have to warp not to be shot down they are not learning anyhting and are doomed, i see people warp alot i just stay away from them best i can.

warping 99.99999% if not 100% is unintentional.
there are a few differant causes of warping, I moved up north a couple years ago, before that I had comcast, once I moved I went to satellite, every day after that I had friendlies telling me I was warping, and enemy's telling me I was "cheating" and warping on comand.
so thats one cause, connection.
another cause could be the CPU is working hard at that moment. especially if you have an older CPU.
background programs will cause it also.
im sure, Those from HTC could tell you, many other reason's it could happen.
Maybe there should be a link on the main Page that discuses this exact topic, that would educate those in need.
also now a days all games or most, will kick you out, or requires you to a certain connectivity, that is an idea to implement in AH.
just my $.02

They're not.
Feel better?

Hi all!
If someone is warping all over the place, at all times, itīs clearly a bad connection problem.
What puzzles me is, some planes act normally, during a dogfight. Now, when you get on their 6, about to blast them, they start warping and you overshoot. Once they're on you 6 the warping stops...
Too much convenient to be a coincidence or bad connection problem...

As you get closer to a target, the updates on position happen faster. If one or both folks have any lag it will quickly become more apparent as the updates increase. More updates.... more information for your machine to digest.
That is why it seems a person warps only as your about to shoot them. It is not on purpose. When you get close, the volume of information both machines have to process will bring to light any lag or deficiency in both machines or connections.

I know all that, but I also know that pulling modem cable out of socket for a brief moment produces the same effect.(Although impossible to produce evidence, that's why it's done...)
