Has anyone else run the HiRes version update from the main page and gotten an adware alert? My Avast popped up with Win32:Adware-gen[ADW] VPS version 091203-0 in file: http://downloads1.hitechcreations.com/AHHIRES2170.EXE\[Embedded_R#0001280]
I know the software is safe; just wondered if anyone else saw this as they were updating, thanks! Going to report it as a false positive...

Scan it first just to be sure, anything can hide in any file downloaded from anywhere these days, in my experiences that is.

I got the same thing, had to disable avast in order to install the HR pack.

got the same thing, skuzzy emailed me said the virus program misread the definition file, its all clean and safe

But can you really trust somebody named "Skuzzy"? Clean and safe and skuzzy aren't exactly things that go together... Just saying... :D

Yep, same here. I figure if I trust HTC with my credit card and their coad in my 'puter, I can trust them with a hires graphic pack. :aok

NOD32 says it is just fine.
Strange occurrence though... it said Scuzzy is a righteous dude.

Yah, figured it was safe. Getting an I/O error though now when I save and try to install it. Get's about halfway and an abort/retry option pops up. Can't get past it...

Try running it instead of download and run... worked for me

Okie dokie, gonna try that now and see if I can get it running. Avast is off, running from the homepage...
*edit* thanks, worked fine!

Avast pushed a problem database update two days ago that was hosing a bunch of stuff with false positives. That might be the problem. They claim to have it corrected in the update yesterday.
