It is, Camionetta SPA,43 Sahariana

This Vehical based on the modified chassis of the Autoblinda 41 (armoured car model 41) was developed for long range desert reconnaissance. A variety of weapons were carried by thses vehicals: these consisted of the 20mm Breda AA gun, 20mm Solothurn anti-tank gun, and 47mm AT gun. All of these vehicals were also armed with the 8mm Breda machine gun.

P.28 Self propelled Anti-tank and Anti-Aircraft guns by Peter Chamberlan and John Milsom

It was a special addation, for 2 reasions, I do not normaly do 2 posts in a day, and the subject matter was a photo request.

Again, thanks. I did not feel I should name it, as I did ask for the pic  ;)

When you look at what the Brits and U.S. had to do the same job with, it  is years in advance. Other than engine power, it is close to the specs of the HUMMV (given the date of production).

shreck I knew it was a SPA AB41 based thingy but I thought it was french for some reason. Anyway its a dead giveaway because of the wheels, they are very distinctive and the center hub has SPA written on it.

Nice one brady!
