Title: Will AH run on this Gateway laptop?
Post by: aleric on December 03, 2009, 12:43:39 AM: Best Buy's website is advertising the Gateway-Laptop w Intel Core 2 Duo Processor as a gaming unit. Will AH run smoothly on it?

Intel duo core 2 (2.2 Ghz/800MHz/2MB cashe )
windows 7 home Premium 64 bit
4GB RAM, 500GB SATA 5400rpm
Intel graphics Media Accelerator 4500MHD

It would run fine if the graphics card was better. That Intel model will not be able to run AH properly.

Find a laptop with NV 9600GSO go or ATI 3870 mobility or better. That will cost you double the price of a comparative desktop computer but if you HAVE to have a laptop..
