I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong here.
I've updated the game, and can log into the MA. But when I try to install the HiRes pack I get this message-
(http://i107.photobucket.com/albums/m309/Mtnman_03/AHHighResinstallmessage.jpg)
I ran into the Avast problem, and had trouble even getting it to download. I worked around that by reporting it as a false positive, and then by downloading and trying to install it without Avast running at all.
I've downloaded it 3-4 times now, and no matter what I get this message.
Please help! I must log on!
Thanks!

When you DL it, do you get an error or pause at about 23% due to avast? Reporting as a False Neg. doesn't seem to stop it from trying to say it's a virus for me, had to shut Avast off and Re-DL.

Yup, that's what I was getting.
I shut off Avast and downloaded it. Then tried to install it w/o Avast running.
I get this message.

It is probably due to the old content being cached and Windows not stomping on it. Windows likes to do that.
Clean out the temp files folder and that might do it.

Thanks for the quick response!
Do you mean the temp folder that gets emptied when I go to Control Panel and do the "Free up space" thing? (Windows XP Home) Is there another one? or a different way to access it?
I'll try that now. Will I need to download it (Hi Res) again?

Yes, and yes.
Make sure to disable any anti-xxx software before trying to download the file.
