Thanks to the guys from the 325th and others who came and gunned for us as well.
My guys, I am darn proud of you, nice tight formation in and after the turn for home. Not bad for a bunch of 51 Eagle drivers, the Clowns, a Brit and a couple stray Luftwaffe Experten!

I joined as a gunner after my spit had some engine trouble,(to much lead in it). Nice formations, good communications, overall well flown. It was an honor to fly with you guys, nice work

:salute 334th Eagles we enjoyed escorting you to and from the target.
As we returned to base and you were landing about 4 to 5 enemy 190's came in low on the deck.
I am not sure if they got any of you guys before you were able to tower out, but they did get some of us.
All the enemy 190's were shot down for their effort. <S> 190's it was a good attempt to take out the bombers.
Fun frame and looking forward to the next 2.
