Hi
I found a nice film about the Red Bull Air Race Barcelona race:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tcUORTnABK4&NR=1
I just wonder, what kind of Angel of the Attack the pilot might pulling in film, timing 2:28 - 2:37?
I know, this is tad a odd question, but I just try my luck.
Thanks

Find specs of that aircraft and look at max AoA....most likely he was max-performing and therefor maneuvering near stall.
I'm wondering if those dudes wear G-suits...

In some of that they have a G meter, you can see they are pulling almost 10G's at points.

Pretty sure they don't wear G-suits, don't think those planes have the necessary plumbing for them, and it they did they would just tear it out to save weight, those guys go to extreme measures just to get a few 10ths of a sec.
I know the Blue Angels don't.
I read somewhere when asked why, they explained that since it is a pre-arranged routine, they know when the Gs are coming and can physically prepare for it. Where as in a combat situation you may be pulling extreme Gs without any forewarning, with out time to flex the right muscles properly, there the G suit steps in to save you.

Blue Angels dont wear them because the inflation/deflation can cause unwanted movements.

At least one pilot wears a G suit. The TV show Daily Planet (Discovery Channel) did a bit on it.
