Here is the latest rev including the p47M.
AK Fuel Calculator (http://www.arabian-knights.org/files/fso/AK_Fuel_Calculator.xls)
-
Thank you sir! I just started using this in the past few months. :)
-
Had to wait till HT fixed the fuel bug in the p47M. I had it added since the intial release of the P47M, but the fuel bug postponed the update for this, lol. :salute

Thanks AKDogg! Great tool for all..... :rock

Ok I'll be the first to show my stupidity, how do you change the multiplier?
-
Open with Xcell and double click with curser just behind the multiplier show at the top. Hit backspace to erase it. Type in the burn rate for FSO or Scinario you want to fly in and hit enter.
-
Just noticed that the 163 does not change no matter what the multipler- even at .0001 it does not change. No biggie. I'm a glider a lot longer than I'm in powered flight with it anyway. Making it home is sometimes harder than hitting somthing w/o ramming it :O

That is because the fuel burn on the ME163 is not changeable in AH. Fuel burn for that plane is hard coded in the model. Even if u set the multiplier to .5, u will still get 5-7 mins at fuel throttle like it was set at 2.0.
-
Never relised that. TY for clearing that up. I'm thinking had you not known that then the spreadsheet would have given false info when someone changed the burn rate. Good catch.
-
thanks for info I really like this
-
Very nice but the multiplier value seems to be "protected" when using Open Office....anyone know how to fix this? :pray Otherwise I'll have to bite the bullet and buy Excel/MS Office
-
What if you carry ORD's? Am I missing the application, or what? Not trying to be difficult, honest.

Here is a Open office version:

This is a generic fuel calculator based on amount of time of flight with a givin amount of fuel and fuel multiplier. Ords will not effect time but only the distance you can travel.

same with Excel :(

same with Excel :(
I just downloaded the file I posted for excel and it works fine. What version of office u have? This file is backward compatable file. Suppose to work from 97-2007. I have 2003 and 2007. Works in both of those version for sure.
-
office 2000, says the worksheet is protected.
-
hhmm, well I don't want to unprotect the entire worksheet because it will cause lots of problems for me as people make changes to formulas without knowing what they did and then saying the calculator is broken. I want to keep it dummy proof if u know what I mean. Download open office then and get the open office version if you want to use it. That is the only option I will give at this time since I no longer have office 2000 in my aresonal of programs, lol.
You can get Open office for free here:
