Just in case somebody has missed this link...

It's my squads homepage which contains two java powered charts that make comparing level speed and climb rate of all AH planes easy. I find them quite interesting personally!

Nice job...but checking the speed at SL of P51 D, YAK 9, G10, and D9, I see that G10 outrun P51D and Yak at SL and I think that's not true in AH. 90% of the times pony outrun my gustav.

100% fuel for chars of speed and climb of HTC? G10 with gondolas?.

Matias, a ver si echamos una carrerita entre P-51D y G10 a SL, q no me fio un pelo de esos chars.

Dark, en los tiempos en los que yo volaba G10 lo que pasaba era lo siguiente:
Partiendo de una velocidad baja (200 mph, por ejemplo) y acelerando hasta obtener una velocidad máxima sin picar, el G10 ganaba la carrera por muy poco. Pero a poca altura que hubiese para permitir un descenso, la carrera la ganaba el P51. Lo que pasa es que el P51 acelera muchisimo en un picado a 0g y, una vez que nivela, se desacelera mucho mas lentamente que un G10. Posiblemente la carrera la terminaría ganando el G10, pero necesitaras demasiado tiempo para compensar lo que el 51 te ha sacado en el picado.

Cuando te apetezca nos ponemos a  probar cosas de estas.

P51 will have the edge in speed if it has a little room to dive, if G10 follows that dive it will accelerate slower than P51 and it will deaccelerate faster once leveled.
