Saw an nme bail over my field last night. Acks shot the Hell outta him, I did 2 strafing passes on him. Looked like I hit him about 6 times with 20mm. All the while, the acks were hosing him down. He never died.
Hope this is just an incomplete part of the damage model. I'd hate for bailers to be safe <EG>

I shot down a C47 Sat night and before the plane came apart the pilot bailed.
Needless to say a few runs and bingo ammo
he was still floating down war with a smile
on his mug....

Should have a parachute release button where you can fall to your death and re-plane again!! That was me in the chute it was the first time I ever even got a chance to jump. So as a result opened it too early. I didn't mind the long float down. I got to see some great furballs the view from up that high is really great without that annoying plane in the way of your view (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif). Their I was bothering no one until some weasel in a pony tried to shoot me in my chute. But he was a very bad shot an missed every pass. After a lot of practice in here I have since lost my position of #1 Lawndart. I even manage to get a kill every now an then in between the spins.

Well rebel. I was in a spit flew right by ya and I circled ya once. You seem to be having such a good time hangin around so i just waved and went on my way. Don't know who the pony rider was. Sorta waste of ammo. I have enough of a problem not spraying it all over the sky!!

You can shoot the little guys - done it and also watched it done. If others aren't having the same luck then either their aim is off or they are experiencing some bug in the beta code.
The other day there was a Rook trying to get away from a countryman. I was providing cover and was a bit behind. The Rook managed to bail and popped chute. The other Knight wasn't able to get him but I had time to line up and squeeze off a few on the poor soul. He popped like a fat zit ;-). Pissed him off too. Apologies to whoever it was but all enemy pilots in the silk are fair game as far as I'm concerned (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
