My online name on Aces High is Corsair.
My boss, with whom I have a love hate relationship is a shreckin' genius. He put this video together. I drop skydivers for a living. This video summarises 2009.
In most of the shots I'm flying the plane. But you only see the back of my head. The only clear shot of a pilot is of a dairy farmer my buddy who occasionally flies the jump plane. I'm the guy in the right seat in that one. The music is amazing and appropriate. Most of the jumpers are good buddies of mine. Irish, British, South African, Polish. What a year.
I think I've wathched it about fifty times now.
Here it is: http://www.skydiveireland.ie/gallery.php
Hope you like it.

The countryside is beautiful, country Tipperary. Being a city boy, I don't alway appreciate it. But as someone in the right seat of my 'plane said once. 'You get paid to do this?' Yes, I do. Wow!

No such thing. It is considered "reasonably airworthy".

Just watched it with my 2 boys...we all loved it! :aok

Cool!
I still remember the same kind of video that StSanta showed to us here, back in 2004. Less than a year later, I was a skydiver too

Where do you pack your M1 Garands and invasion maps?

Where do you pack your M1 Garands and invasion maps?
We left them out of the video. Didn't want to tip off the enemy :noid
Joking aside, we had some WW2 reenactors come to us for a static line course. A combination 101st airborne and Fallschirmjager which made for an interesting day on the dropzone. They hadn't brought their Garands or MP40s, sadly. They wanted to actually earn the wings they wore and do some actual round chute jumping in Europe this time with a friendly reception.

Oh , I want to jump ! How would one get into being skydiver ? The way I fly I need to learn ...

Go to www.dropzone.com and find your local dropzone. Take it from there.
