In light of the great work HTC did on the new "Wafflesburg" city, I wish to see these cities in place of the current tank towns. Perhaps a smaller versions without the flak towers, but strat targets that mean nothing (meaning that if they get destroyed no points are given). IMO it would make some nice urban battles for planes and GVs.

Greebo's terrain-in-progress:

I'm planning on doing the same with the two MA terrains I'm working on. :aok

God yes. +

Its too bad you cant add airfields WITHOUT ord to defend from the bomb****s or ack that only fires at planes. :devil

My MA terrain's tank town has a bunch of anti-griefer features built in. First it is inside a crater with 16,000 ft sides. Not only that, but I have built permanent low alt cloud cover over the tank town V bases. Also I have added an extra town for each country a couple of miles from each tank town V base. These towns each have four flak towers with a total of eight 88mm and a load of light flak guns. Basically its going to be a lot more trouble than its worth to grief it.
If you want to try it offline, you can download the terrain files here: craterma.zip (http://www.gfg06.dial.pipex.com/screenshots3/craterma.zip).

Greebo, I downloaded it and flew into TT...but there is no cloud layer...and flask doesn't shoot at me... :(
-
The cloud layer takes about 45 mins to generate fully, after that its permanent. The flak should be working if you get close to an enemy V base. It was working a week or so ago, I'll have to check it again.

Rgr, I will re-test everything in a bit. Thanks for the info, though!

My bad, I forgot to add the weather file to that last download. I've updated the files to include it. Here's the new link: craterma1.zip (http://www.gfg06.dial.pipex.com/screenshots3/craterma1.zip)
I checked the AA over the crater. It is working but you need to get fairly close to one of the enemy V bases before it targets you. I may beef it up a bit though, seems a little weak at the moment.

Rgr Greebo, won't be able to check it back out until later, but thanks for the updated link!
-
Greebo, what do I save it to?

Put the extracted files in your ahiiterr folder. When you start AH, hit "choose terrain" and then select "craterma" from the list.

Thankyou sir :salute
