Title: Continuing P-38L 1st time Skinner

Well, made some more progress.  Added different shades for the panels, to show the different runs of aluminum used (per Greebo's tips, thanks again sir!).  Also added weathering to her.  Again, advice is welcome

Okay.. So, I took that base 38 I built, and added markings for P-38 ace Charles "Mac" MacDonald's P-38L "Putt Putt Maru"  
 Not sure where to go from here as far as finishing touches on it.. feel like there is more to do but not sure WHAT....

Just using it as a learning tool, there were a lot of good photos of it to reference.

With so many picture available, how did you get the spinner color order wrong?   :P

DOH I activated the wrong layer in the save.... had it wrong once, and jsut hid the layer and added a new one with the correct order.. guess I had fumble fingers lol

Just teasing bud! I think your doing a great job. With the basics down the rest is just tweaking, learning what looks good and what doesn't.  :aok
