Right in the middle of gaming a notice shows up on the screen saying "Your session has changed from UDP to TCP, then the game dumps. My high speed internet company says the think the game is changing the route which is allowed. Please comment if you know what's happening.

Is the message, "Losing UDP, switching to TCP" the message? That simply means there is packet loss on your Internet connection. That can be for a number of reasons.
Applications cannot change routes. That is what the ISP does.
When the above error happens, immediately run a Ping Plot (www.pingplotter.com free version at the bottom of thier download page) to 206.16.60.38 for a few minutes and see if packet loss shows up and where.
Are you on a wireless connection? That can also cause that problem due to higher than average bit error rates in the data stream.
There are a few hundred oterh reason why it can happen, but let's just gather some data for a moment before going off the deep end.

Thanks Skuzzy. I talk with a tech from Clear.com and he confirmed everything you wrote and I have used ping plotter before the recent upgrade on Clear. Before the upgrade I had all kinds of issues. It has been much better lately. As you know, it is truly aggravating when you're on someones "Six" and "Poof" there goes your connection. A little too easy to get aggravated and jump to conclusions. Thanks again. I will get back to you after a few Pings. :bolt:
