If you are intersested in flying axis Iron and are looking for a humble, agressive and cohesive squad pease look us up. We are rather new to Aces High but all of us switched over from a previous flying Sim where we we at the leat equal to the best squads available.
We are a historically based German fighter squad and fly the appropriate aircraft. Do not confuse us with the RAF Luftwaffe you may have seen.
Ask any member for information or register as a guest at our webpage for further information.

If you're tired of flying allied rides and would like a change, or even just starting out, come fly with us and help increase Axis presence in the arenas and special events. There are too few Jagdgeshwaders (equal to a USAAF wing or an RAF group, with about 100 to 120 aircraft under its command historically http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organization_of_the_Luftwaffe_during_World_War_II (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Organization_of_the_Luftwaffe_during_World_War_II)) in this sim and one of our goals is to try to change that.
If you're interested please visit our website http://www.jg-27.com/ (http://www.jg-27.com/)(its outdated but changes are in the works) and click on the recruitment tab and fill out the app. Dedicated Luftwaffe pilots please! :salute

Hey Hammer +S+
Yeah we noticed when we started AH (we migrated over from Warbirds as JG27) and so we decided to create Stab II - hence the II/JG27 ~AFRIKA~. I know this will create some confusion as the original JG27 here tends to fly allied aircraft while our squad tries to stay true to the squad's historically based rides. We are strictly dedicated Luftwaffe and will have to stick with the moniker for the time being till we can figure something out in the future.

You've given up on YAKs and Corsairs???

You've given up on YAKs and Corsairs???
You will very rarely find anyone in our squad flying anything other than German, Italian or Japanese...90% of the time we're in 109s or 190s.

The remark was made since in Warbirds Kung Fu (the best pilot in that game, imo) flew those rides often.

I look forward to more hispano cannon fodder.
Welcome to Aces High gents. :D

Not really what these posts in this particular forum are for Bruv we will for sure give you or any RAF squads a good fight, not sure about the "fodder" part tho :), but thanks for the welcome anyway.
Just to add to what Zoney and Kung-Fu have stated:
We are not affiliated with the other JG-27 that mostly flys RAF AC. That is there choice. We prefer to fly Luftwaffe aircraft using historic tactics. If you are interested in flying with a mature group of guys who enjoy the historical aspects of AcesHigh please feel to look us up on our squad night (Tues. 9:30pm EST.) and fly a sortie or two with II/JG-27. We also participate in the FSO and you are more than welcome to guest fly with us and try II/JG-27 out.

To alleviate any concerns or misconceptions II/JG27 was formed after we came over from WarBirds. We were JG27 there and when we came over we noticed that there already existed a JG27 in AH. I contacted 4510, JG27s CO, and we discussed the situation between our squadrons. Because they were here first we established ourselves as II/JG27. It was through a mutual understanding between our two squadrons that this occurred. We have flown against each other in the Main Arenas and flown together in events. All we ask is that you don't hate us because were beautiful.

Hey KungFu,
great looking site, if you can only take away the old flag symbol on the upper left corner (the black red white, alte Reichsflagge). Here in Germany its currently missused by neo nazis! so if a german take a look at your site, it could lead into the wrong direction. The Reichskrigsflagge from 1902 is not forbidden, thats why small nazi group use it. Last year there came two guys on fatherday to a soccer cup in my hometown with such a flag...... well, we didnt call the police :D ... the flag was gone and these guys were never been seen again. Just to clarify.

Very well done. That was an upstanding thing to do under the circumstances. <S> Good Luck!
