Are you asking why they did not win the war at that point in your screenshot? If so, you need 90% of your own bases.
If that's not what your asking, sorry!

If you look close, you'll notice that the "blue" IS bishops, and they clearly have the 90% needed, and the Knights, who are labeled as having 100% are down to only 6 fields.

I think thats the problem... somehow after the fields were recaptured they are not marked as Bishops fields as far as the arena counts them.

n/m answered my own question.
-
The text is giving what Bishops own, i.e. they own only 44.4% of (what started out as) their own fields, 100% of (what started out as) Knight fields, and 40.7% of (what started out as) Rook fields. So the "win" criteria is apparently not quite semantically correct? Bishops win because they own more than 90% of the original number of fields they start with (although not the actual starting fields) and more than 40% of the other countries starting fields??? Kinda confusing. Or is the OP saying Bishops didn't win with the map as shown? (Which would be consistent with the win criteria given.)
-
All this thinking and yet, you don't realize that the map itself has an issue....... Knight/Bishop fields got somehow reversed. In essence....... The only way to reset this map is to knock the other 2 countries down to uncapturables in order to reach 90% own fields, which in this map are erroneously displayed.

We just need HTC to reset the map manually, or it will never go away.

Actually you could let the rooks win it... but that would just be wrong. :D
-
As I recall, taking a CV doesn't count for the win, so if the field that was captured to put you over the 40% necessary was a CV, then that would be it.
-
DC everytime a Bishop captures a knight field the Bishop fields percentage increases.

Either I didn't explain what I was talking about very well, or you didn't read very well. If the Bishops owned a port but not the CV, to get the CV they would have to sink it and wait 7? minutes for it to respawn. At that point, the Bishops would have "captured" that base, but you can't win the war by capturing (sinking) a CV even though that may put you over 40% of enemy fields. You will still need another base capture.
-
I seem to recall winning wars with a CV capture....
-
Yes I believe CVs count but thats not the point here.

Was playing this map yesterday off and on all day as a Knit and seen all kinds of issues. This whole map needs to be doublechecked as there were issues of river barges coming into Tower at P14, grass at P14 extends well beyond docks, bases slow to change color once captured, A16 had NME CV group right on shore and base did not flash, and knits had similiar issue as Bish as about 1130 EST I checked war status and it stated the Knits owned 100% of the Bishop bases and ~40% of the Knit bases. :headscratch: Sorry no screenies though.
I must admit, I like the snowman the M3 deliver. Was driving around away from maprooms and dropping 1 troop at a time, they would just stand around looking as if someone made a snowman there.

Yup cvs do count.

Yeah...we definitely have 14% of Bish fields. :)

They used to count. Don't think so anymore, as I've seen a CV capture take us over 40% but not get the win until another base was captured.

.......A16 had NME CV group right on shore and base did not flash,
Base will not flash from cv being close to enemy filed unless somebody ups from it.
