Title: Webcam/Video chat help

Ok, I got a new Dell Studio 1550 for Christmas.  Of course, it has the webcam, so I decided to try to do a video chat with my friend on Windows Live Messenger.  I can both see and hear the other person, but they can only see me (they cannot hear me at all).  The Microphone emblem indicates that it is picking my voice and other sounds up, but she can't hear them.  Anyone have any ideas as to why she can't hear me?

Make sure your mic is not turned off . You can still hear your self but they will not be able too . Hope this help's ..
