use a mouse with a wheel, like I do  :). set the wheel to throttle 1. That should take care of the problem.

not sure what could be going on here, outside of maybe you have a "new" keyboard? that has its own drivers that are not like your standardized 102/104 key keyboards or you have your left & right buttons on your mouse programmed and possibly your middle button( or wheel ) programmed for your throttle?

which OS are you using ( XP, Vista, Win7 ) and is this a Laptop or regular Desktop PC........

* -if you hit the P key, does WEP turn on and automatically make your engine go 100% throttle after engine starts up when launching to the runway ?

* -what type of mouse is it ?

* -what type of keyboard is it?                        ( <----- these last 3 questions, may help us figure out what might be going on )

I would also recommend checking to ensure everything is mapped properly.  I recently reformatted my hard drive and did a completely fresh install of version 2.17 patch 3 and I noticed that some functions which used to be defaulted to certain keys are no longer mapped.
