They need the rest, gonna watch the Stepford Wives while doing it.

Nothing to be gained by playing all your people when the game means 0.
Its the NFLs fault for allowing a 16 game schedule. The players union too. Both the Colts and Saints have XYZ preceding their name which means the last game means nothing, other then a chance to get a starter hurt playing a nobody like Buffalo. Its 2nd string time for Indy.
I just hope they televise some of the AFC games where wild cards will be decided. That adds some excitement to the last wekk. :salute

Clearly they were intimidated by the outstanding team the bills have once again fielded this year. Alas, we'll take whatever sort of win we can. :lol
Sucks for my brother though. He and his wife were planning on going to Ralph Wilson this weekend. :frown: I wonder what it means for ticket holders?

I think he was being humorous. Theres no way an NFL would be canceled from a forfeit because one team doesn't want to risk injury before the playoffs. The show will go on, just with the Colts 2nd string.

Yup, sure enough didn't have my joe before I read that one this morning. http://www.newsdial.com/satire/coltsforfeit.html
*facepalm*
Wishful thinking on my part perhaps? :lol

The stepford wives was a nice touch. :rofl

I would call the original post sarcasm. Below is not. The Colts fans are ripping into Colts president Poliam. Colts are threatening to close down the fan forum at Colts.com. They deserve every criticism they get (and then some).

Kill Bill Vol. III?

I think the Jets should do the honorable thing and forfeit their win
Cheers,

It makes me feel better about Colts fans. I thought they were all robotic like the team until this happened. Give em hell!

I don't get what it being a 16 game schedule has to do with it, if it was a 14 game schedule they would have locked it up in week 12 and games 13 & 14 would mean nothing.

Monday I tried to register on the Colts forum, I still haven't received my activation email.

I can see it from the fans point of view. I would be pissed off majorly, but why risk the Superbowl shot over a game that means nothing? They arent looking at the big picture. Theres been alot of injuries this year.Look at Pittsburg and Palmero.

That isnt what I meant. What I meant was 4 games pre-season, 16 during the season, its a miracle any of the players survive to perform their best in the playoffs. Why risk your franchise over a meaningless game?
Also being able to play your 2nd string can yield dividends. It allows the team to see what they have and it allows the younger players to get some experience. Once the playoffs start the Colt fans will forget their little tiff.

They closed it down! :rofl :rofl :rofl Oh they have a P.O'd bunch of fans. This is not the first time they have done this while going for a perfect season. The last time they came out rusty and lost in the opening playoff game.
