Title: game locks up completely, but only online

As the title says, the game locks up completely when I'm online. Off line it works great. Can't get out of the tower and hangar online. I have to use Ctrl+Alt+Delete to kill the game, and until I get it killed, the mouse cursor is either locked or hidden. I just downloaded and installed a fresh copy of the game. I do have a dxdiag file.

Need that DXDIAG.  Also need to know the game configuration.  Video settings, Graphic Detail settings, high resolution textures, cutsom sounds, skins.....

Email on the way. I did notice that I get no messages about textures loading. I have not been online long enough to download any skins, I've never been off the ground, or for that matter, anywhere but the tower and the hangar. I have not changed the default settings much, I did download the high resolution textures, and install them. No custom sounds, and the acceleration is set to none. For what it is worth, I have no problems running SHIV at high settings, nor with MS CFS 3 + OFF.
