Title: When Will We Get Some Vehicles?
Post by: Rendar on November 20, 1999, 06:40:00 PM: I am wondering when there will be vehicles in AH? We could have something like the German Half-Track that has a light MG on it. Would be great for shooting paratroops. Or Acks that can be manned? What is the plan HTC?

I think the inclusion of ground vehicles will really open up Aces High to a wider audience (those who don't know how to fly) (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Imagine a Panzer or Tiger tank knocking out the acks at f7, accompanied by a truck to deliver the drunks (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Post by: 214CaveJ on November 21, 1999, 09:39:00 PM: I'm not sure I would want to drive from field 22 to f7 in a tank and/or truck. That's a 5 minute flight in a 190 at ~160mph. Tanks do what, ~30-40mph? Trucks about 50 maybe?

Ok, regained composure. Why couldn't it have been a vehicle? I think that would've added a lot more to the game. Plus, can't wait to sit on a hill with a 105 or Panzer and lob shells onto that enemy dar wielding HQ (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif) AHHHH, or a flak panzer!! Post by: Kirin on November 25, 1999, 07:27:00 PM: Grrrreat! Film Viewer... I really waited for that one. I hope it will be as functional as the one in Falcon4 and not as crappy as AW3's. I would like to switch to different planes during replay, reading flight data and so on - great possibility to improve your flight skills. Always loved to analyze my films in AW3 - almost recorded every sortie.
