ahevents.org page for the event: http://ahevents.org/this-day-in-wwii-category/this-day-in-wwii.html
We are creating a new series of events called "This Day in WWII". Each month, on the anniversary of a major battle in WWII, we will run a themed event based on that battle.
All players are welcome, and no preparation is needed. These events have the theme of the battle, but they are not realistic recreations and do not require familiarity with any rules prior to joining us for the fun.
We plan to start with January 25, 1945, the date of the conclusion of the Battle of the Bulge.

Yep, it was your Pearl Harbor event Subway, along with the past Doolittle event that players put on, that contributed to these anniversary events getting started.
Good work, Subway, and thank you. :salute :aok

This looks really fun. I noticed it the other day on the aces high events site and was wondering what it was about. i hope i can attend the first event

What time will these events be held?
The reason I ask is because the August 13th BoB event is on a Friday.
I'm wondering how much time there will be in between this event and the FSO frame.
I know it's more than half a year from now, but I'm curious.
And very interested :)

We prefer not to have these events to conflict with current events, so some of them might be moved in time or day to accomodate that -- it's an issue to be decided as the events in question get closer.

This is your doing?
I had to write an additional function into my parsing algorithms to handle this coming change...
That in and of itself is actually a good thing...I now have in place the automation necessary to handle the addition or subtraction of event type categories to the base log index page...and as soon as I get the POST command format...I can implement it...
Your nothing but trouble...
:rofl
:aok
