Testing my ability to include pics in the posts.

This one will interest a few, perhaps.

Believed to have been taken in combat by the 303rd Bomb Wing, from my father-in-laws collection.

Looks cool. Did you enhance this pic in photoshop or something?  The shadow on the belly of the 262 is so much blacker than the black in the rest of the pic, it almost looks like it was grafted on.

This is a scan of an actual WW2 photo that has faded a bit.

I don't have a nice flat plate scanner, just a Canon Multipass combo. It rolls thru and scans at 600x600.

I did use Photoshop to improve the contrast due to the fading. I think I "overimproved" it a bit but at least the plane is easy to recognize.

The ME-163 is even darker..need to tweak it a bit.
