Ok, I have been trying something new with my styling of rivets. And I'd like some critisism.
Typically I have just done a 1px black or white dot at a 300-400% spacing (See Brewster)
The new style I am playing with has more of a raised look. (See B-25 Pic)
Which do you think looks better? Suggestion and opinions need!
Thanks for you help gents!

I've always liked the raised look more. It's one of those "skinner's choice" things though. Which are you preferring atm?

I myself am prefering the raised look.

I think the raised look only adds to distract the eye...
Real planes with paint on them, you can't see the rivets at all. On top of that, most rivets in WW2 were flush riveted, rather than "dome" rivets (and, while they did exist in specific places, they were the minority)...
I'd say maybe do something like that for the "bolts" or large fastening type lugs, but not the general rivets.
IMO most folks overdo rivets anyways. I've submitted 1 or 2 without them and nobody cried foul, and usually tend to subdue them more than not -- so that you get something for the eyes, but not that it makes you stop and actually LOOK at what you're seeing.
