Hey guys,
Im not sure you have heard but Australia's greatest gaming studio "Pandemic" (I know some American squeakers are gonna dispute that) has been shut down and folded into EA due to the "Global Financial F up".
Pandemics resume includes
Destroy All Humans 1,2,3
Mercenaries 1,2
Starwars Battlefront 1,2
and countless other classics.
Now what has this got to do with "The Saboteur". Well since Pandemics shutdown it has been discontinued and yet tonnes of copies are on sale, my advice is buy it while you can and here is why.
Set in occupied France in WW2 "The Saboteur" is a fantasy depiction of the occupation of Paris. With Zepplins and all kinds of Nazi experimental weapons ready to strike you down, you play as a Womanizing Irish racing driver/mechanic by the name of "Sean Devlin" who after his best friend Jules is murdered by the Nazis, escapes to Paris.
He links up with Jules's family and gives them the news, he is offered lodgings in a secret room located in the family buisness "Le Belle de Nuit" a Bordello. After that you join the resistance and the game opens into a sandbox exploration game allowing you to do whatever you like and kill any Nazi that gets in your way. Your one overall objective is revenge by blowing up and dismembering every Nazi Building and Soldier.
The graphics are great, the gameplay is awesome and the characters accents and jokes are hysterical. There is also a great feature in which Nazi Occupation zones are in Black and White and active Resistance areas are in colour.

It's a great game and Pandemic really went out with a bang with it. Sure, the historical accuracy was chucked out the window but that in no way diminishes the quality of the game nor how fun it is to play. I haven't really touched on the main story missions yet, mostly been running around and attacking German troops and stealing cars to add to my collection. It is also one very good looking game, the way one side of the street is still in black and white and the other side is in full color is an effect that always makes my jaw drop with how good it looks.

So, just search our local stores? Or does pandemic have a site it is distributed on?

Should be able to buy it at any retail store that sells games or you can get it from Steam or Direct2Drive. Make sure if you get the console version to pony up the money for the DLC, it adds boobies to the game.

Then you're in luck, the boobie DLC comes free with the PC version. If you get it, make sure that you download the beta patch for the game, especially if you have an ATI card and run Vista or W7. If you have XP, you're good and won't have any issues but still a good idea to install the beta patch. Those with ATI cards with Vista or W7 have had a really tough time in getting teh game to run properly.

Check the Saboteur forums, I know someone posted a work around that may help those with ATI cards and Vista/W7 in addition to installing the beta patch.
