OMG, that's funny.  I wonder if the cop can hear the donuts coming out of the fryer from 2 miles away?

lol. Much appreciated CAP. My 2010 has had a VERY lousy start :( (My grandfather passed away a few days ago, and I sincerely believe a very close friend is seconds from suicide...)

lol to funny, it reminds me of a show i seen two days ago, it was more of a bloopers show but this one cracked me up.... an Officer pulls this person over for i guess speeding, he was talking to the motorist and was giving him a verbal warning, when the Office was done the person in the car politely said "sir your fly is open" to the Officer, OMG i never laughed so hard, because you know everyone at his station seen the footage from his car cam  :rofl   the Officer was redfaced and giggling as he walked away back to his cruiser.

Let me get this straight, you believe your friend is willing to commit suicide and you were sitting in front of a computer posting on a insignificant forum?

That is some friend....

Um, her parents are trying to get a restraining order against me, because I have been on the phone with her until 0400 almost everyday for months helping her with her depression because they won't do a thing but beat her and demean her daily. I've made some inquiries in CAP, and suffice to say the ball is rolling to get CPS involved. Trust me, I have given hundreds of hours and hundreds of dollars to helping her and protecting her from her parents as best as I could while trying to find a professional option that isn't going overboard (Don't make me get into the details, but up until now it has been JUST straddling the line between lousy parents and and a CPS-worthy situation, hence it taking so long to start on that path). When she was isolated from everyone else (Her parents even canceled the home phone line so she couldn't call out when they weren't home. No she doesn't have a cell-phone) I went out and got her a cell phone she could use in case of emergency and smuggled it to her. At this point, CPS is involved and I don't want to have a TRO on my record, so there is nothing I can do but wait by the phone and help counsel her after they're done doing their damage.

He was the last of his generation in my family. It hurts, but he was 96 and this was a long time in coming. I found out today though he will be buried with full military honors at the National Cemetary of the Pacific, so that is very comforting.
