  I along with everyone else have video too.  Its pretty sad that those on his side that knew he was doing it didnt condemn it but decided to capitalize on it and as far as i'm concerned that makes them just as much of a cheater.  When I say capitalize on it I mean ??  Well hell you all know what I mean unless youre totally stupid.  I also have video of those involved and im not gonna name any names im gonna let Roy see them and ban players or whatever as he sees fit.  In my opinion I could careless to fly with any of these people ever again if my squad ever went back to the Knights.

Saw him and myself and many others DID condemn them both!  REPEATEDLY!  :furious

Didn't do squat, in fact they seemed like they were following us from base to base afterward.

Did some fightin near there but avoided the bases pretty much.

You know, before I used to think these threads were unnecessary; but after everything that happened in the past, I think the general population of the game has the right to know. To, if nothing else, know what to watch out for.

I followed them to 2 bases to record and then ended up logging for the night. Many of us nits reported them. The nits who capitalized from their hack should be ashamed.

DREDIOCK is right.  Don't jump on the bandwagon just to post something.  Send it to HTC and let it be done with.  No need to get your shorts in a bunch.  HTC will take care of it.

It sounds like it is continuously the same person. When this was done in the H2H arenas (reason H2H was closed) it was by someone with a name similar (it has been sl long I don't remember if it was the exact name or not)

Guys they only get caught cheating, hacking "once".

HTC deals with this sort of thing swiftly, and with full vigor.

Now, would I like it if they could "send a pulse" back down the line that would fry the offenders CPU, melt down their hard drive, and burn up their ram. Well sure, but obviously thats not going to happen.

What also isn't going to happen is they will not be flying AH again on that computer, from that ISP.

So ease up on the drama, and let HTC do their job.

It's a shame that kids like this don't put their talents to good use. I don't believe the internet should not be censored and this is just a game and all, but hacking of anything should be a crime. If someone would give me their address i'll volunteer to go to their homes and beat them with their own keyboards. Providing i can pass airport security..... :noid

Yah, we saw the same thing with Ponies dropping troops and 4000lb bombs not too long ago.  I'd rather have these things out in the open and corrected rather than shoved under the carpet...

Well, that's the real root of the matter, isn't it?  iwin2000 obviously has issues that are stroked by exhibitionist behaviour, but what about the guy who does a SUBTLE hack.  We are always hearing about aimbots, indestructible tanks, planes that do impossible things, and that old standby cable pull.  The cable pull was proven to be possible, but HTC has always denied the possibility of an MA hack.  Now we've got to wonder about it, since iwin2000 and his compadres demonstrated it pretty spectacularly last night.

You cannot be serious.  No one has said it's impossible and the difference between a hack and someones less informed OPINION is NOW plain for YOU to see.  Now you have seen the very very rare real deal you still gosta SPECULATE.  FFS man get a grip of reality.

I doubt you could pass airport security, oh wait it government ran, sure you can, just dress like a arab and you will get right through, they won't even stop you to look at your ID, they don't want to be accused of racial profiling.

Yes, Lynx, I am quite serious.  If you believe that the only possible hacks are airshow smoke, ju-88s with a ridiculous turn radius and a zillion bombs, ponies launching hundreds of missiles, and such, you are naive.  It would be just as possible to fire up a more subtle hack and use it on a regular basis.  I have been on the other side for a long time--I really do believe that most of what people see as 'hacks' are not.  Now, I am not so sure.

And I think HTC needs to take that uncertainty seriously, for a change.  The policy has been denial and suppression of information to date, and that's not going to work any more.  Researching this iwin2000 dude shows that there are a bunch of people out there that get a kick out of this kind of thing, and HTC needs to (in my opinion) openly face the issue with the community, show that they are making an effort to stop it, and return some faith in the integrity of their product to the customers.

Someone suggested that moderators be able to ground hackers, and that would be a good thing as long as the hacker CAN be grounded.  Letting those people screw up the MA for several hours yesterday was VERY bad publicity for HTC.

They should have more GM's (Game Masters), the only one I see is Skuzzy. Or Voulnteer GM's or Enforcers, of coarse they will have to know the game alot, and have experiance moding a game.

Problem is folks like you, your ill informed rhetoric. HTC does take this type of problem seriously. Those that have been here for awhile know that. Those that have been here for awhile and don't know that just have their head stuck in the sand.

Common knowledge... you see a possible problem film and report to HTC. You or anyone else on these boards are in no position to be able to do anything about it. HTC can and will fix the issue at hand and they will do it very quickly.
