Title: Help, vox is horrible
Post by: Getback on January 08, 2010, 10:24:24 AM
Not sure what I did if anything but I cannot get my vox to work appropriately. It's scratchy and someone said over modulated. However if I lower the volume it still over modulates and my voice sounds weak. I'm using realtek audio onboard sound.

Mine was doing that before it died.  Bought new headset and worked perfectly.

You know that you can put your own ID in the vox channel box to test your VOX, correct? You'll get a slightly delayed return of your VOX; what you hear is what they hear.

If it's just weak, have you checked that your sound card's mic boost is enabled?
