I normaly don't go in the I want this plane kinda rant... but it would be fun (if unrealistic) to see this one   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif) (just joking)

Horten Ho 229 also called Go(Gotha)229

It flew in Jan 1945 (only preproduction fase) and one is currently undergoing restoration
  (http://www.warbirdsresourcegroup.org/LRG/images/lrg1099.jpg)

Topspeed : 607 mph at 24800 feet
Ceiling  : 52500 feet
Range    : 1,970 miles (3170km) at 393mph (635km/h) with two drop tanks
Armament : 4 MK108 30 mm guns + 2 2000lbs bombs
Engines  : Two Junkers Jumo 004B turbojets
Thrust   : 1,980lb (900kg)

How's that for an überplane   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

This is unfortunately I can find at this time. I believe Ospreys's Fw 190 Aces of Eastern Front has more info about Kittel and his plane.

Actual screenshot would be nice!  (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

gatt: The one of the cover of the that book is Walter Nowotny's FW190A-4
 (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Natedog: Is the A-5 looking something like plate 39 in the above mentioned book?

Otto Kittel  KIA 14 feb 1945
267 confirmed kills all on Eastern Front
Achived less then 40 kills flying Bf109's and the rest with the FW190A

Guys
Nate sent me a BMP of the a5..
It is not in the osprey book, I found it in my combat AC of ww2 book. If you have that book there is a fold out with an A5, d9 and ta152 on it the a5 is ours. I have permision to post the picture and I will as soon as I get a chance.
Has anybody else noticed that most if not all of the colour plates of A6s in the Osprey East front 190  book have mgffs in the outboard wing position? Were they really A5s or did they screw up the art work?

Yeah I've noticed that to Pongo.
Also if all the paintjobs of those plates are accurate is quite questionable after what I've heard. :/
But the book is a nice read at least and have many fine photos   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

It might be a typo where it should read A-5 of those that say A-6 but have MG/FF's in the outer position, or the artist just used the wrong linedrawing/rawplate by misstake when he started all those aircrafts.
Pretty simple misstake by a reknown artist/author like John Weal thou...

Yes please post the A-5 pic soon, i'll just run over here all the time to check otherwise!   (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif) :lol
