I suppose this has something to do with the Arena caps is why people do not log once they are in, they can be AFK for some time. Could we have something in place that will boot them after a set period of maybe 15-20 Min max after no activity?
This was from today, definitely not the first time this has happened.
These numbers did not change for Bishop for at least an hour +........ Fluctuated slightly, but for the most part around 30 in flight out of the 73.

15-20 minute max? I think an idle timer should be in place....... but thats a little short on the fuse there
I suppose if you want to wear a diaper while playing thats entirely up to you........ as for me I prefer being able to go downstairs to use the restroom..... and perhaps grab a beer while Im down there....... or maybe make a sammich......
you think I should have to log back in just because I had to drop a deuce?
-
I gOT IT!
Lets make it to a bank account.
The first 30 minutes are free of being AFK
Every minute afterward is 1 perk point from each category.
Once you run out of perks you get booted.
Also you are charged interest :devil

Hey Dads, was there any GV'n going on at that time? Just askin cause I know the squad I'm in will sit and tank fight for quite awhile. Or does GV time count as in-flight? :salute

I think my idea in this thread is a good one

I'm still trying to understand why orange is so much better than blue that we see post after post about this topic, off into infinity... If your squad is in orange and you can't get it in, then they should switch.

I read through the OP 3 times and still never found anything remotely related to this......

+1 sometimes I forget AH minimized for over 4 hours and more
and unbelievable but true
Some People let PC run with Locked in a Arena when they country goes well and Look like reset will be soon, and go to work ( park in a Hangar near HQ a plane)
I did this and I spoke to many who do this to to earn the Reset perks.

And this is complete nonsense, as nobody needs to be online at the moment of reset to get the war perks

No,you have to be Online and a space of time in Flight ore if you changed country 480 minutes in the New country to earn Perks of reset.
If you are Offline you dont earn Perkpoints of reset.
Wenn du offline Bist bekommst du keine Perks für reset.
Du musst eine bestimmte zeit online und in flight sein, das heisst die zeit die du online ohne flight ,Tower,Hangar, bist muss kleiner sein wie die wo du in flight bist.
But the Most who are Afk have like me AH minimized and sitting for hours somewhere in a Tower and Arena looks full
ore since I m Old I fall in Front of PC asleep...once I played 28 Hours AH and People asked me ..hey dindt you sleep?

No,you have to be Online
You don't. You will get the perks when you log on next time (but without any further notice), as long as the other criteria is met:
You have to be part of the winning country for over 24 hours to get the perks awarded when the war is won.
(Help file says 12h though ;) )
-
So, what's to stop someone from going to a back base and sitting in a field gun? That technically is "in flight".

WIN T3H WOR!11!!! S4V3 T3H WOR MANUOL!!11!

Nope.

But back to topic.............
Even 30 minutes might be too short a time, however this is a GREAT IDEA. I'd say 1 hour.
-
Lets start from simple fact, nothing in OP picture says how many of ppl not in flight is really afk for long time.
-
When I was on last weekend or something the Rooks were trying to win teh war!1!11! and some of us who were trying to dogfight were forced into planes above 25 eny...I was stuck to flying 38G's (not that that's a bad thing, just prefer the J) and Mossie's the entire night until I got sick of it and logged for a while. Rooks had about 85 people (guys really need perks that bad?) and about 45-50 were active.

Well spoken sir, well spoken!

I suppose it wont unless there is some type of inactivity timer in place that will take that into account.
-
It be pretty difficult because as said you could sit in a field gun and then you could calibrate your joystick with the stick all the way to the left. Then simply just leave your computer with the field gun spinning in clock-wise circles. This would look like activity for sure unless there would be some way to distinguish that from real playing.

..than you have a Saitek USB Gold from 1999 Hundret Times Cable fixed and the rest Holds the Glue and Dirt...
-
What are you talking about? What I am saying that you improperly calibrate the joystick so it thinks that the center is 20 degrees off from where it actually is so you spin circles.
-
I like the OP's idea. But 20-30 mins seems a bit quick on the draw though. When I'm in a strat run (or even in one of Scooby's missions) sometimes it takes a good 20 minutes to get enough people into it. Maybe it would be best at an hour or so. If you're sitting in the tower for an hour, you're afk. Besides taking up a slot in the arena, you're hurting the eny. As for sitting in a gun and spinning it, well, let's take care of the tower flowers first then worry bout the rest.
