I KNEW I should have put a "No IL-2 forum frequent visitors allowed"-tag on that one. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/wink.gif)
Now if you hurry and edit we might get some fun out of this afterall (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

I don't know what plane that is, but I know I wouldn't step on that plane volunteerly, probably not even if forced to (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/biggrin.gif)

OK, Juzz got all 3 right after 11 minutes, nice (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)
And like Staga say it was called
1) Kamov A-7-3A
2) 46kph (29mph)
3) It had a couple of rearward firing rockets.

hehe, I would call it dead the first time the rear gunner fired at a bandit above him (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

What was the point of the Ruskies developing it? I bet it had zero reliability, and the only defence it had was that most LW planes would overshoot it. (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)

Yanks used Piper Cubs, Germans used Storchs, Brits got Lysanders, Russians got few of those and R-2 and R-Z....
-
Why would it have low reliability? Autogiros are really simple a/c. And if a machinegun and 2 rearward firing rockets aren't a defence, then what is...
