The worst.  One time was making a chicken stew in a crockpot.  My roomate at the time came in and unplugged it, thinking it was done.  I figured she's a girl, knew when to unplug it...so I ate it.

Never been so sick in my life.  Had to drive myself delirious and in an massive snow storm to the medical clinic down the way at 4 am.  Doc gave me an I.V. I was so dehydrated.

Many confuse it with eating spoiled food and just getting nauseated.

Had it twice last year, once courtesy of British Airways and the other I never figured out where I picked it up from.

Worst feeling ever.  Puking so badly out of both ends at once I thought I was going to die.

Bah, food poisoning is nothing. Couple of years back I ate something at the airport in Kaula Lumpar... bad move.

I had the usual sit on the dunny hold a bucket in front of my face scenario.

After a day or two the wife convinced me to go to the doctor. So we hit the after hours emergency clinic, no problem! We'll give you this injection and these pills.

This injection and these pills turned out to be something containing compazine which I'm allergic too (which I didn't know at the time).

Quote
can cause tardive dyskinesia, a condition involving unusual, uncontrollable body or face movements (including abnormal movements of the tongue).

So this begins with me having muscle spasms down the right hand side of my body, ending up to the point I can't stretch out straight. Then my face started to go then when my tongue started to get wierd we decided to go see the clinic again. The doctor that saw me thought I was a mental patient and my wife was my 'caregiver' because I had "the look" about me (apparently I'd lost all facial muscle control and I looked like an absolute nutter). They gave me an antidote and we getting ready to chuck me into the ICU as the spams got worse, they were trying to give me an ECG but couldn't (I would've hit the nurse that told me to stop shaking so she could take if I could've). Then all of a sudden the antidote kicked in and I was right as rain, well except my body was sore for about a week.

Nowadays I just ride it out....

She doesn't by chance dislike you, and is perhaps the recipient of an unknown life insurance policy?

I am telling you man, its because you drive a Ford!!!

 :devil

Just kidding, last time I got sick was the last race of 2009, a two day event with a race each day. Dad and brother raced day one or should I say tried too, a car crashed and took out 30' of guard rail. At 8:00 pm we got the bad new, race postponed until tomorrow, we  just reached round one. Just get going on the way home and I started feeling really queasy, not good an hour away. About the time I got home I knew something was up, started puking at 10:00 pm and stayed close to the bathroom until 5:00 AM. Finally get to sleep at 7:00, wake up at 11:00 feeling very well compared to the last few hours. I fly down up to the race track an hour later and make the start of the second race. After being through all of that I lose first round by leaving in second gear, something I have never done before. Second round the car the car leaves on the converter because the rpm chip fell out which causes me to go .015 red. To add insult to injury the other guy has all kinds of trouble and lifts 30' into the run!

I never knew I could have my luck swing that much....

Arrgh the very mention of "Food Poisoning" makes me shudder.

I once ate some Chilli Con Carne that dad had made three days ago for dinner, I cooked up some rice and reheated it and it tasted great. But what I didn't know was that the container's lid had been skewed and it was exposed to open air.

My guts felt like they were being torn out with a pair of pliers.

If you take the Pepto-Bismol tablets at bed time, you can wake up in the morning with a black tongue.  Wife was pretty freaked out once till we finally figured out what caused it.

Pepto wouldn't help anyone in the throads of food poisoning.  Hard enough to sip water to keep hydrated and to have something" in your stomach to hurl the next time.  No way I could have swallowed Pepto.  Once the puking stops it is great stuff though.

Got food poisoning in college from eating undercooked fries in the cafeteria.  Had it coming out both ends for about 48 hours.  Was advised by the Doc that the only thing I would be able to hold down was 7-up and applesauce.

Except for a couple of really bad hangovers, I have never been that sick again.
