Quick question for you ati guys in the know.
I'm looking at the sapphire 5770 series. What is the diff between the 5770, 5770 juniper, and the vapor-x series.
Getting very close to pulling the trigger on a new system. Just need a little input here.

Can't really tell ya the difference...I also saw a 5770 Extreme or Ultimate edition somewhere...
I've got the Juniper and love it...I think the way the Juniper looks is better too.

I like the vapor-X idea. Supposed to be really cool and really quiet. Costs more, though.
Uses phase changes or something (I've forgotten the details since I last looked it up) just on the inside surface of the cooling unit to keep the GPU nice and cool, requires less fan over the heatsink, meaning less noise.
All other aspects of the cards being equal, I'd personally go for the vapor-X one.

Spikes, what's the dimensions of the juniper?

Spikes, what's the dimensions of the juniper?
Bout 8" x 3" x 1"
8 being length wise.

Thanks again, juniper looking good.

i think the differance between most are the mem clock and core clock, vapor x is for cooling. i have the 5770 juniper and really like it, runs everything i got maxxed. goto newegg tigerD and read the specs and reviews, thats what i did to make my choice and i almost got the vaporX but went with the juniper. alot of the reviews that are bad usually means the person that got it didnt know what they were doing. Oh also the XfX has lifetime warranty not sure what the sapphire has.
