Title: AH won't start up

Need help asap. Tried to start up game last night for FSO and got this.

"The instruction at "0x00000000" referenced memory at "0x00000000". The memory could not be "read".

I re-downloaded the game and got the same message. This is the first time in 5 years this machine has had any problems running AH. I'm at a loss to what is cause this.

Check your video drivers. I am running VISTA and it updated my driver and I couldn't get the game to start.

Video driver was not changed from when the game worked fine. I updated driver last night with no luck. Thx

Need to see a DXDIAG output.

Also try moving the current installation folder to another name and then re-install the game.

Thx Skuzzy. Just checked Dxdiag and found that the program my daughter uses for her web cam turned off directdraw acceleration. Enabled it, and now everything is good.
