Title: Vehicle Ammo
Post by: OTTO 111th Fighter Group on December 14, 2000, 08:37:00 PM
Can anyone tell me how to change ammo type in the Mark 4 tank.  The 'backspace' key dosen't seem to work.   Thanks...

The backspace key should work if you loaded both types of ammo before you launched and you are in the gunners position.

Otto, make sure you have the keys mapped in the key mapping utility.

Westy, Ammo, I've tried what you suggest both nothing works.  The 'backspace' works in Aircraft but not in Vehicles.
I've been applying updates since the Beta.  I going to do a full D/L and see if that's it.
   THanks.....

rgr OTTO. I just tried it and it does work for me. AP, HE or smoke.  In position 2, gunner, I hit that and it toggles right thruohg.  It must be a keymapping issue I guess.

If you change your keymap at all you won't get an auto updated keymap from HTC.  The up side of this is all your custom keys don't have to be reset everytime a new version comes out, the down side is everytime HTC adds something or makes a change with the keymap you have to manually add them to your keymap or delete your custom keymap before upgrading.

I deleted my HTC folder and executed the full D/L. I can now select tank ammo (http://bbs.hitechcreations.com/smf/Smileys/default/smile.gif)  I'll have to do some mapping and such but at least I'm current.
    Thanks for your help...
