I some time ago turned down my base alert warning because it is useless in late war with so many bases being attacked at any given time .If it said the base that's now under attack (base 34 under attack) it would make a big difference as far as base defence.
-
I agree, it would promote fights around attacked bases as well.
-
Bad Idea.
Isn't the base flashing the base that is under attack? Wouldn't you have to look at your map to see which way to turn even if the alert gave you the base number?
-
I think I have completely blocked that "base under attack" and don't remember hearing it in the last few months. :joystick:
-
I have actually heard someone say "Who gives a chit" after that warning
-
I have it turned on, but never really notice it. I always end up find out which base is under attack when someone on country channel types "ALERT BASE ##!!!! ZOMG NEED HELP NOW!"

But they would have radioed where the enemy was attacking back then.....
I like this idea, would promote fights and make it easier to find horde NOEs :salute

All Flashing bases are under attack. What bothers me is how they number the bases on the map. Is there any plan on how they number the bases. Friendlys will tell you where they need help although most don't come to help. And finding where on the map #xxx base is takes a minute because the numbers seem jumbled. :headscratch:

Then simply land and type ".move ###"
As for base numbering, it's based on how the terrain airfields were laid out. The majority of the time bases are split in a three-way process such as when you play cards amongst three players. A base for you, a base for you, and a base for you. Generally bases are laid out nicely (in terms of numbering) yet become more confusing when associated with specific countries.

I replaced my base warning sound with "The Last of the Mohicans" theme song.

All Flashing bases are under attack.
Ummm no kidding,But there are at any given time 10 or more bases under attack and know one can keep track of what base started being attacked when. For example,I'm flying along i hear base under attack ,i look and see 7 bases flashing,i have no idea what base just started getting hit.
