After my laptop crashed recently I had to format it and install Windows all over. Then I downloaded AH2 again, but now I notice that all my films in the filmviewer show only white where the ground/terrain is supposed to show?!
What is the bug here? Also, when I download films from the forum I can only watch it for a few seconds before the filmviewer shuts down and closes completely.. Very annoying! :huh

it is not a bug.......... you need to re download the terrain files .... for what ever terrain the film was made on
this should fix your problem
hope this helps

As tequilachaser mentioned, you need to download the terrain which was used to create the film. In older versions of AH, if you didn't have the terrain associated with the film the terrain would be invisible. Made for some interesting "floating tank" screen shots. :D

Ah.. Thanks fellas! :aok :lol
Yes, it does look pretty weird looking at the films when all you see below is fog.. :headscratch:
I was sure it was not foggy that particular day I flew there, or was I so foggy myself that I remember it as a clear day?!
Well, I guess I'll have to download the terrain files and test the films once again to find out then. But the filmviewer shutting down prox' 15sec into the film, is that another issue you think?? It just says the filmviewer has detected a problem, and has to shut down.. Guess the missing terrain could be that very problem tho.. :headscratch:
Anyway, thanx again. I'll have a look into it, I'm not really a guru on this.. So I'm really glad this forum excists! :aok

I never encountered such an error, then again I never used the new film-viewer (used version 2.13... a LONG time ago). Are you running the Film Viewer as an administrator?
