Man I can't describe how excited the kids , wife and myself get to be allowed inside and actually get to walk through , sit in cockpit , talk to the pilots etc. Makes me really appreciate the game and what AH set out to do for the Aces High community. I have so many more pics of numerous events.  :salute  Kilz anytime you want to make a trip to D.C. bro.  I got you covered when you step foot of the plane at BWI , Dulles or Reagan National !!!!  The wife being former Army Intel 903rd out of Ft.Meade MD ( 3 tours )....shoot I can't miss a show..... PLUS  she get's BACK STAGE PASSES..if you know what I mean   :rock

I prefer milk.

I haven't been out to the Dulles one yet, (no car makes it tricky) but I spend plenty of time at Air and Space on the mall.  My apartment is literally 6 blocks from it, so I'll stop in and look at the WW2 carrier section from time to time to see some blue beauties.  They also have my beloved G-6 in the land-based section  :rock

All the same, glad to see another DC area AH'er.  There seem to be a lot of us, with an ever expanding list.  May require some  at some point.  :)

The Shuttle is not a replica and it has flown...just not in space.  It's the Enterprise which was used for the glide tests when released from it's carrier (modded 747).  They had originally planned on refitting it for space but some structural changes were made and it would not have been cost effective to use it.
