That website is OK  to maybe get a basic idea, or even a squadron number.  You need websites like this http://www.littlefriends.co.uk/ for the real infomation.

isnt there a russian website that has markings for practically all WWII squadrons? cant find my bookmark for it.

I dunno holmes, but I know Wings Pallette is a russian site that has a LOT of profiles.
