Was looking for the most realisitc flight sim in the world...this isn't it. These '..playability..' modifications are just to stupid to continue playing this sim. and paying for it. The klingon Battle Cruisers commmonly known as bombers here and the titanium ground vehicles are just too silly to pay $30 a month for. I can just hear all the whining about this post already, but just face it, it's all true.

I find chum fishing very boring. All you do is trawl with chum anyway. Unless you go deep sea fishing with awesome 200lb lines and catch yourself some big ol' fishies.
In which case it's awesome! But hey.. fishing is always fun when there's a whole rack of mary jane laying 'bout. :D

Indeed, the learning curve is steep.
Buck up, lil campers! The road is long and arduous and fraught with peril.
Quit whining and fly more. In a year or two (or more) it'll all come together.
...then again, maybe not. You may suck forever.
Then again, maybe you won't suck, but there will ALWAYS be people in the arena that will smack you around like a 3-year old in K-mart no matter how you try.
My advice.. Get a P-51 and RUN!

Ain't it the truth Westy? I still love looking at posts saying "This game sucks!" and knowing full well that the poster sucks alot as well.
B52, you can always try other flight sims ya know. No one is forcing you to stay here. If you don't like it, go away. There isn't any need for you to post saying the game is crap, you just haven't learned to fly it properly yet...<G>

Must be the same kinda guy who thinks the moon landing was staged...if you're gonna have a tantrum over Aces High, try to go easy on your Playstation or whatever dweeby game console you are apparently used to. This game requires skill and patience. Aparently you lack both. <shrug>

Baaa...everyone has gotten PO'd and said "THIS GAME &^%$%$%^& SUCKS". Then you take a step back a go... wtf xBAT, STFU and fly stupid as its the only way your gonna improve. Then I see that lone b17 outthere and a think...hummmm I can take it babby!!!
Back in the tower shortly after... THIS GAME&^$^$%$%^... lol.
I havent put my joystick through a wall yet in this game... maybe I'm chilling or maybe I'm just drinking more? :)

I got 2 kills in a B26 last night, and pinged the 3rd that actually got me pretty bad. the first kinda came from my 6, but he did swing high then low and around, but ended up back on my 6. The second came dead 6. The 3rd came high 6, got pinged and went low 5. Pinged him from the right waist, then the tail causing his engine to smoke, but he ripped my wing off in the process.
Now, was it my battlecrusier armored B26 that was the reason I survived the first two, or was it because they came up on my 6 and made themselves nice fat targets??? I heard one ping from the first attack, a couple of pings from the 2nd, and two or three from the 3rd. It didn't really take much to knock me down.
GVs are easy if you hit them in the treads.
Get help if you need it. This game isn't easy. I'm 3 months into it and I still get schooled by the vets. Well, lemme rephrase it... the game itself is pretty easy, flying against the guys that play it is VERY difficult for a new guy.

Well since a tank just brushes off 2x1000# landing nearly on them but a .50cal can take a track off one, seems to be something wrong with that picture. Only really a few things that are just too silly to pay for here, like dogfightings bombers with turbolasers, titanium ground vehicles, 1000yd high deflection kills,laser guided high alt bombing. HTC should set up a server with no icons or limited to just a colored dot, set the vehicles to their proper firepower and armoring and do the same to the bombers and get rid of the sissy darbar and limit radar to 100mi of a set array that can also be degraded with bombing, then I'll be more than happy to pay $49.95 a month. As far as help in playing this sim, i've been in the top 100 since my day one and top 50 in more than 1/2 the tours i've played. I don't call it skill when I can dive bomb a carrier in a b17 or kill all the acks at 3 bases in a row with a single sortie in a fighter, its called silly.

truth.You havent been around long enough,to judge this game the way you do,a bit of humbleness wouldt be in the right place.
we`ve just had a tread from a guy called
pdog_109,very immature I must add,just like your tread,,,you see its how you address people.Last, we in here love this game,because of the sense of reality(its a hard game,for all newbies)and then we got the community,,just a bounch of nice guys,
always willingly to help(if you ask politely)

Well, i've never lost a tread in a vehicle, thats was what Ripsnort was saying in earlier post about .50cals. I don't like using the "playability modified" aircraft (bombers)or any vehicle, thats the reason i've never ever had a 30-40-50 kill streak. Lets face it a good 80% of the posts by anyone thats played AH for more than 6 months concern the rediculous idea of HTC to modify some units for playability reasons, thats the most idiot thing to do in a game thats been advertised as 'advanced modeling...' and touted as the most realistic sim in the world, those statements come very close to false advertising as far as i'm concerned and judging from the hundreds if not thousands of posts concerning these same issues I have there is no doubt about my views.
