Title: HT or Pyro, plans to change ID tags on planes?

As it stands right now, an La5 can be identified as such from 6.0k away, as can a Typh, and others. Now what happens when the La7 is introduced? Will it be ID'd as an La7?
Additionally, the 109D-9 will it still be ID'd as just a 109? See where I am going?

Someone who sees a Spit at 6.0k may not realize it is a Spit14, yet when he sees Temp, La7 he will be able to begin his plan of attack, or plan of flight immdediatley from a safe distance. Not whining. Just wondering how this can unbalance acm tactics and give unfair advantages to people flying perks that are not ID's in detail.

lets just make planes bit easier identified (P-51 =! dark black dot)
then we rid the icons.

It won't be too difficult to even things out a bit. Lav for La5 and La7, what would u do about Temp and Typh?  When I see a Temp, its run run run in my Runstang 51. I weally scared of the Temp. Mommy.....

kinda like the 202 and 205 icons now eh?  Shouldna both be 'Macchi' or 'Macc' instead of 202/205?

They should just give each plane a unique ID.

That or make sure that ALL variants of the same design have the same ID.

As noted above, the current system benefits some planes and is detrimental to others.
