Probably already been asked, but I am browsing from my Motorola Droid and it gets quirky with search. I'm looking at upgrading my two 17" dell monitors this spring. Looking at two 23" Acer monitors.
I currently run 1280x1024 for ah. What differences will I run into with the widescreen monitors? Also, what pros will I see out of the switch?

 Thanks all!

I went from a 17" flat panel LCD to a Samsung 24" widescreen.  Flying at 1900x1200 fully cranked details, with widescreen aspect in-game.  Man, it was like a new game all over again.  Get to see more field of view and everything is clearer.  Yep, you're gonna like something like a 24" widescreen.

Think I'm guns pick up an Asus 24" 1920x1080 LCD. Good price, love Asus stuff, can't hurt to try it!

go for it I've had a 22" asus for years now and it definately made a difference in seeing the planes at distance and shooting at them.
